The World Behind Yibnib
Yibnib began as a character in The Misadventures of Hightrees and Yibnib: Shattered Island, a fantasy adventure from The Woven Roots Co.
The Yibnib Sensory and Autism App brings part of that world into a safe, sensory-friendly digital space for young children. Inspired by Yibnib's own datapad in the books, the app includes simple games and activities designed around exploration, communication, creativity and play.
The app is free to use, with no advertising or paywalls. It was originally created by Rooty Spiers for his non-verbal autistic son and is now part of the wider Yibnib universe, which is growing through books, sensory-friendly games, comics and other creative projects from The Woven Roots Co.
